Hi, I’m courtney!
When I was in college, I rescued my first dog, Boca—the heart and soul of DaleyPawz. We found each other during a pivotal time in my life, and she came with a lot of behavioral challenges. Together, we put in the work, learned side by side, and grew into the bond that ultimately shaped everything DaleyPawz is today.
I studied Outdoor Adventure at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, where I spent most of my time outside. One of the most unique experiences I had there was caring for a dog sled team, which further deepened my love for working with dogs in outdoor environments.
After moving home from college, I held many different jobs—one of the most special being a nanny for an incredible little girl who shared my deep love for animals. Over the five years we spent together, she became my sidekick. No matter what I was doing for work at the time, I always had a few dog clients, and she loved joining me on walks whenever she could.
As the years went on, my dog-walking clients continued to grow. In September of 2019, I officially started DaleyPawz—a business rooted in my passion for the outdoors and my lifelong love for dogs.
That same year, I began mentoring with Debbie Sheridan of Debbie 4 Dogs, where I completed coursework and became a Certified Positive Reinforcement Trainer. Today, I work every day to help dogs live the lives they deserve, to be their voice, and to help owners better understand their dogs through trust, patience, and compassion.
In 2021, I brought on my first walker—and DaleyPawz has grown quickly ever since. What started as a dream of spending my days outside with dogs has become so much more than I ever imagined. The DaleyPawz team has grown into a true community. We gather, we support one another, we host events, and I would truly do anything for the people who make up this team. Our walkers are some of the kindest, most genuine humans I know.
We are endlessly grateful for our community and for everyone who has supported DaleyPawz along the way. We can’t wait to see where this journey continues to take us.
DaleyPawz started with one fanny pack and a bunch of keys, and it has become a dream come true. I’m beyond grateful every day to combine my love for the outdoors with my deep love for dogs—and to provide trusted, compassionate care to you and your pups.
