FAQ
-
how do I learn more about services?
We highly recommend booking a Meet and Greet! This is a great opportunity for you and your pet to meet one of our team members and go over questions & information. This also helps us give you the best future service possible!
-
How do I know daleypawz is safe?
All of our team members have pet care insurance and are experienced. The walkers communicate with each other and work as a team!
When we walk dogs, we use their leash (and harness if used), along with a safety slip lead that each walker has.
-
what is the best way to communicate with daleypawz?
Please use the Time to Pet portal to communicate with us! On the portal, you can book services, send private messages, update your pet profile at any time, and so much more!
If you are not on the portal yet, email us at daleypawz@gmail.com
-
What is the best way to leave instructions for my pet care provider?
It’s important to clearly fill out the notes in your Time to Pet profile! DaleyPawz should be able to see everything we need to know about your pet and how to access your home to care for them. The more details the better!
Use Event Note for adding details specific to a service/group of services. This is helpful to know if we should feed your pet, special instructions for anything, to let us know that you left a note on the counter/somewhere, etc.
-
how do team members access my home?
Most clients have lock boxes, a garage door code, or a keyless door lock with a code.
We recommend having two ways to enter your house, it’s important to have a back up in case it may be needed!
Some lock boxes can be difficult to open due to weather damage, we suggest the Master Lock Key Lock Box.
-
How do I decide which walk to book?
We offer 20, 30, 45, and 60 minute walks. The visit begins when the Walker enters the house, not when the walk begins. The service includes time getting to know your pet, leashing up, drying off, feeding, etc.
Book a visit that is longer than the length of the walk time you would like, to account for the work at the beginning and end of service.
-
how many dogs do you walk at once?
We walk one dog at a time, unless an additional safety slip lead leash is provided. We recommend and use the one from Mountain Dog Products. If you get one, tell them DaleyPawz sent you!
-
my dog pulls a lot, is there a harness that you recommend?
We recommend the Two Hounds Freedom Harness and a leash that is on the longer side.
-
When should I book services?

We will do our best to accommodate any last minute requests, however there is no guarantee. Private message us in the portal to see if we have last minute availability for you.
